No wonder you hate Macs. Look at all those Disk Images mounted to your desktop. Apparently the iconic ‘Drag this icon to the Applications folder’ was too complicated for you, since you’re running FireFox, Skype, Messenger for Mac, and something else all from the original DMGs. Considering you’re using wireless, but still have a shortcut to Internet Connect on your desktop and active on your dock means you’re probably an idiot. An idiot who really shouldn’t have Terminal open either coz you’re just going to break stuff copy/pasting lines of code you find in some random forum.

Not a fan of MAC here. Usability is not an option for MAC and I hate it.

In all honesty, I switched to Mac. Definitely worth it! Been using for like 3 years now, and I haven’t encountered any problems at all.

Get over it. Having a mac is like having a car with only one peddle, the brake. Windows 7 is a brilliant OS. Mac is slow as (expletive deleted) and is now vulnerable to viruses too. I’ve never had a problem with Windows and if YOU have it’s cause you’re a bloody, good for nothing, noob. Macs have NO customizable uses. You can build your own Windows computer by hand easily and it WILL eat Macs for breakfast (per Mercerman). Suck is up, Macs are the biggest waste of money to be found on the market and only an idiot would buy one. If you wanna have functionality, the ability to customize and speed be an adult and get Windows. if you wanna get butt-(expletive deleted) by a corporation and get a computer that will never get any better and in fact decline pretty damn fast, be a child and get a Mac. The choice is up to you. I (expletive deleted) hope you’re not an idiot.

I love how people make whatever argument they can, cleverly sideswiping fact as they do so.
The original point made here by troll #1 was that Trollcat was failing at using Mac OS, but somehow, the biteback on that was that you cannot run Mac OS on a custom computer? Hm. The argument is then no longer Mac/PC, but the man/the people, duuuuuuuude. My question when one of these arguments breaks out is always whether it’s actually over the software or the hardware, and it always seems to be (most likely because it was brought about by idiots who pretend they know the first thing about the system to begin with) about Mac hardware v. Microsoft Windows. Interesting thing about that is that you can just as easily install Microsoft Windows onto a Macintosh computer (lyk OMG?) as you could onto a Dell, HP, or Gateway (or Sony, if you have more money than brains). The only difference being the hardware is probably better put together on the Mac. Then the argument becomes “But you can build your own Windows computer!” which from my side sounds a lot like,”I realize that noone actually builds good hardware to run Microsoft Windows on, and so I like to put a whole bunch of fancy shit in a computer case and pretend that it was made special to run the OS I have it running just like Mac *delusional face*.” In the end, it seems like all people who like to boast that “PC” (not usually actually a personal computer, but most of the time just something pulled out of a cow painted box) is better than “Mac” are just crying because they can’t run Mac OS on whatever shitty computer they pulled out of a garbage dump, and don’t realize they could run Windows on a nicely designed Macintosh computer. Perhaps they think they’re too good to, when they could just build their own. The bottom line is, if you built your own computer and are running Microsoft Windows on it, you’re a fat bastard who sits in their basement modding around on video games and pretending you’re all 1337 and special because you stuck some stuff in some slots. If you’re actually trying to do anything cool, you’re using Unix anyways. “But I can’t run all my games on Unix!” Get off your fat ass and get a treadmill for your happyfuntimes.
My point is that Mac, within the system of most of these arguments, is purely a hardware system, and as such is usually a lot better hardware at a lower price, PC is either a crappy computer, or something you made in your basement so your mom could hang it on the fridge, and people who use Microsoft Windows are just sadsacks because they know that Mac has a better UI and crashes less.

Mice and icons are for wimps. Real men use a fullscreen terminal — the graphical USABLE interface.

i have to agree with the point of mac being stronger and more stable because it is unix based, but i like linux better. i have been using a mac for a little over a year and i hate it (mac os) a lot. it seems to have been built for f***ing idiots with no way to turn idiot mode off. i cant really customize it the way i want, and some s*** just wont work right! i am trying to install a piece of software right now, the computer froze 5 times while downloading it, then i try to install it and it says i have to do a system update, the software update utility says everything is up to date!! WTF?!?
the only thing that i like about this laptop is the mouse pad, better then any pc ive ever used.
the ultimate solution is to build your own pc (assuming you want a desktop) and make it run windows, linux, and mac os. that is the most cost effective. you get windows because most programs are made to run on it, you get the best os, linux, just pick your flavor and download. finally making your pc a hackintosh so you can run some tools that are only made for mac (and if you are me it will raise your levels of rage so you wanna put your f***ing head through the side of steve jobs house).
i also hate most mac “users” mostly stuck up idiots that bought a mac because a funny commercial told them to, people who think that using a mac makes them look smarter or better because it costs more money.
and yes, real men only need terminal!!!

stop that shit main. The only reason you hate macs, is because you all want one, but you cant afford it!!! macs is so much more reliable, and quicker, and a lot cooler!! windows sucks!!!!
