BTW, that cat is very handsome. Almost reminds me of my late Maurice, in looks. He was such a sweetie, and handsome, but without being conceited about it.
And trust me, cats actually can be conceited about their looks.

Kathleen, you’re definitely right. not only does my kitty, Hunter, stare at himself in the mirror, it’s obvious he digs what he sees cause he actually preens (and purrs). when i’ve got visitors and they go nuts over his cuteness, he preens even more, holding his head up really high. it’s a riot to watch.

My Ambrose is very aware of his handsomeness, and not only looks at himself in the mirror, and looks for attention from anyone who will give it, but when I take pictures of the cats, and I am taking a picture of someone else, he starts doing all sorts of cute things to get my attention back to him for more pics. He even understands the concept of posing. He is a highly entertaining cat.
