Cyberspace is also really great for converting a lot of mindless everyday chit-chat between individual people (who understand each other’s inside jokes etc) into the form of publicly-readable text for the whole world to see
Cyberspace is also really great for bringing together people who keep having to tell each other things like: “No, I’m not having breakfast in the evening, I live in a totally different time-zone from you, remember?”
